Lately I’ve been crawling through history books. I’m writing an essay on the birth of the newspaper. Sounds like a simple topic, but really is not. It seems that the process was quite slow and evolutionary in nature. It is quite hard to point out the actual first newspaper.
I have 30 classmates but only 10 of them are women. And from what I’ve heard, it seems to be the same in other type schools as well. Why is it that typography is still mostly in the hands of men?

I just finished George A. Romero’s latest sequel – the fourth one – to his famous zombi-trilogy. Yes the gore is there, and the humour is there but it lacks the qualities that made Romero so famous.
